There are many benefits which can be derived from the practice of Tai Chi and you will find many, but not all of them, within this website.

Tai Chi channels the flow of Chi (energy or life force) through the body's meridians. According to traditional Chinese medicine, as long as the flow is uninhibited the person will remain healthy, however, if the Chi is is obstructed or unbalanced, illness will result.

The Chinese believe that the major cause of illness is inactivity. With this in mind they devised many exercises to cure and prevent disease. Of all these exercises they consider Tai Chi Chuan to be the best.

In addition to joining a class, attending workshops etc, Tai Chi can also be very beneficial in the workplace and more and more employers are realising the benefits of organising sessions in the workplace.
